Tab Studio

Edit one tab of an app and the sections inside it.

What it is

Tab Studio edits one tab of an app shell and the sections inside it, in context. It is the right tool when the app is correct but one swipe screen needs work.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Tab Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Open the tab you want to change, then add, reorder or reconfigure its sections without leaving the surrounding app. If a section is reused elsewhere, open the section itself before making a change that should apply everywhere.

Adding a section to an existing tab. Reordering an app so the thing you use most is first. Making a phone screen less crowded without rebuilding the whole app.

Gotchas

A tab is navigation, not storage. Removing a section from a tab can make data hard to reach without deleting the data. If you are cleaning up, keep a path back through Library or Resource Studio.
