Save and profile real-world places, with per-place privacy.

What it is

Place Studio saves and profiles real-world places — the pin, the details, and the privacy of each one — on a live map.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Place Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Save a place, fill in what matters about it, and set how visible it is. Saved places are reusable across trips, maps and automations.

Use cases

Keeping the places you actually go. Building a set of locations a trip plan can draw on.

Gotchas

Place privacy is per place. Check it before sharing anything built on top of your saved places. A trip, map or tour can reveal a place indirectly even when the place itself felt harmless on its own. Use vague labels for sensitive places, and review pins before publishing a map.
