Capsule Studio

Capsule Studio

Configure portable, self-contained pieces of a screen.

What it is

A capsule is a portable, self-contained piece of a screen. Capsule Studio configures the sections, target and default placement behaviour for one capsule.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Capsule Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Build a capsule from sections, set what tapping the capsule should open, then place it somewhere else — a dashboard, page, chat message or share surface. Use Capsules for the concept-level behaviour.

Use cases

A live summary you want to drop into several places. A shareable snapshot of something in your workspace. A dashboard panel that opens to a full detail view.

Gotchas

An unset capsule width resolves to full width. If you want a half-width dashboard tile, set that explicitly; old capsules are not migrated just because the default rules changed. Also check the capsule target before sharing: the card may open data that is not itself shared.
