Morning Briefing

Morning Briefing

A dated, actionable snapshot assembled each morning.

What it is

A dated, actionable snapshot each morning, assembled from what your other apps have to say.

Where to find it

Morning Briefing is installable from the public Index as @Adhoc content; the LifeOS suite was published there on 2026-08-19. Open the Index, find Morning Briefing in the catalogue, preview it, and install it — it then appears in your App Drawer like any other app. Some alpha workspaces also have it pre-seeded, so if Morning Briefing is already in your drawer you do not need to install it again.

How to use it

The briefing is produced by an automation. Which apps contribute, and when it runs, are settings you can see and change — not hidden automation config. Read each item as a pointer back into the app that supplied it.

Use cases

One screen that tells you what today looks like. Catching the thing you would otherwise find out about at 4pm. Reviewing what your plans, tasks and trackers imply before the day gets moving.

Gotchas

If the briefing is empty or arrives at the wrong time, that is a setting, not a defect — the timing is yours to change. A briefing also depends on the contributing apps having dated or meaningful data to summarize.
