Block Studio
Block Studio
Design the individual cards and rows everything is built from.
What it is
Block Studio is where individual blocks are designed — the cards, rows and content units everything else is assembled from.
Where to find it
Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Block Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.
How to use it
Blocks are laid out freely: you place elements where you want them and can vary that placement per screen size, rather than fighting a layout engine. Bind an element to a field and it shows live data instead of placeholder text.
Use cases
Designing the card that represents one recipe, one workout, one invoice. Fixing a card that does not show the field you care about.
Gotchas
Blocks can bind to fields that only exist on some rows. Design the empty and missing-field state on purpose; otherwise one odd item can make a polished card look broken.
