Research Studio

A spatial board for pinning, arranging and exporting resources.

What it is

Research Studio is a spatial canvas for sense-making. You pin and arrange resources on a board, drill into sub-boards, and can export a board snapshot as an image asset.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Research Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Open a research board, add pins for the resources you are comparing, arrange them spatially, and drill into sub-boards when one cluster deserves its own canvas. Save or export when the layout itself is useful.

Use cases

Collecting sources for a project. Comparing several resources without forcing them into a table. Building a visual board you can share as a snapshot.

Gotchas

Research Studio is gated by studio.research and writes board state as workspace data. Moving a pin is an edit to the board, not just a temporary visual arrangement.
