Resource Studio
Resource Studio
The direct view of the underlying resource graph.
What it is
Resource Studio is the direct view of the underlying graph: the actual containers, items and events your apps are made of.
Where to find it
Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Resource Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.
How to use it
Inspect a resource, see its fields and its place in the hierarchy, and edit it directly when the app-level view will not do what you need.
Use cases
Fixing something an app cannot express. Understanding how an app you installed is actually put together.
Gotchas
This is the low-level view. It is powerful and it is easy to confuse yourself here: changing ids, parentage or metadata can affect every app that renders the resource. Prefer an app-level studio unless you are deliberately repairing structure. When in doubt, inspect first and edit second, and keep a note of what you changed.
