Map Composer

Author maps — pin places, pick a style, save as an asset.

What it is

Map Composer authors maps: pin places, pick a style, and save the map as a Library asset.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Map Composer there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Drop pins, choose the look, save. The saved map is an asset like any other and can be placed in an app or a page.

Use cases

A map of the places relevant to a trip. A styled map for a page you are writing.

Gotchas

A saved map is an asset. Updating the map asset affects places where that asset is reused; saving a separate copy is safer when one page needs a different style or pin set. Place privacy still matters underneath the map. Preview the map from the page that embeds it.
