Talk to Poly, message people, and read email — in one place.

What it is

Chat is the communication hub. It carries three tabs: Messages (your conversations, with Poly pinned at the top), Email (a mail client connected to your own mailbox), and Contacts (friends, requests, and people search).

Where to find it

Chat is one of your main screens. Swipe left or right to move between screens, or tap the handle bar at the bottom to open your App Drawer and pick Chat from there.

How to use it

Talk to Poly the way you would talk to a capable person: plain language, no command syntax. Ask it to build something, to find something, or to change something you already have. Human conversations work like any messaging app.

Use cases

Ask Poly to set up an app for something you track. Ask what changed in your workspace yesterday. Message someone you have shared work with.

Gotchas

Poly reads your workspace to answer you, so it is only as good as what is in there. If it cannot find something, the fastest fix is usually to tell it where the thing lives.
