Provider Studio

Describe an outside service once, reuse it everywhere.

What it is

Provider Studio is where an outside service — a vendor, an API — is described once so the rest of the platform can use it.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Provider Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Define the connection and its credentials in one place. Everything downstream refers to the provider rather than carrying its own copy of the details.

Use cases

Connecting a service you already pay for. Keeping one credential in one place instead of five.

Gotchas

Credentials you store here are used to call the service you named. Treat them the way you would treat any API key, and remove a provider when a connected service account should no longer be reachable from Adhoc. Changing a provider affects every capability that points at it.
