What it is

Start Here is the first useful surface a new entity sees after consent and provisioning are out of the way. It is a small landing app, not an onboarding quiz: a welcome block plus four cards that open Chat with Poly, the Index, Library and Gallery.

Where to find it

It opens automatically the first time an entity boots after setup. After that, use the App Drawer search for "Start Here" if the app is still in your workspace, or use the same destinations directly: Chat, Index, Library and Gallery.

How to use it

Tap Chat with Poly if you want to describe the first useful thing you want built. Tap Browse the Index if you would rather install an existing app or starting point. Tap Your Library to see what already exists in the workspace. Tap Gallery to open the media home; it starts empty until you add photos or videos.

Use cases

Getting oriented on a phone without reading a long explainer. Choosing whether your first move is a conversation, an install, or adding files. Returning to the basic doors when a workspace still feels empty.

Gotchas

Start Here is marked as seen per entity in local browser storage, so it is normal for it not to reopen every time you sign in. Explore is not one of the Start Here cards; Explore is a separate system app and only appears when its surface gate is enabled.
