Capability Studio
Capability Studio
Define one callable operation for you, deeds and Poly.
What it is
A capability is a single callable operation: one thing defined once, usable by you, by a deed, or by Poly. It gives the platform a named action with inputs, outputs and risk information.
Where to find it
Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Capability Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.
How to use it
Define what it takes, what it returns, and which provider or native handler backs it. Once saved, it becomes available to automations and to Poly without anyone writing new app code for the integration.
Use cases
Wrapping one useful operation from a provider. Giving Poly a specific new ability that is yours, not built in. Making an external action reusable instead of pasting the same setup into every deed.
Gotchas
A capability definition is a promise about side effects. Be honest in its labels and risk fields; a vague capability is harder to review before a deed or Poly turn uses it.
