Audio Studio

Audio Studio

Record, trim, normalise and export audio.

What it is

Audio Studio records, trims, normalises and exports voice and audio clips. It is the editing surface for sound assets, separate from Music Studio’s sequencer.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Audio Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Record directly or open an existing clip, edit on the waveform, and export. Use it for captured audio that needs cleanup before it becomes part of a page, video or share.

Use cases

Cleaning up a voice note. Preparing narration for something else. Trimming dead air before a clip is reused.

Gotchas

Normalising audio changes loudness, not content quality. A clipped or noisy recording may need to be recaptured rather than boosted. Audio Studio is for clips; use Music Studio when you are composing patterns or loops. Keep the original recording until the export is checked.
