Make beats with a step sequencer, piano roll and Library loops.

What it is

Music Studio creates music assets. The registry describes the current surface as beats with a step sequencer, piano roll and Library loops, routed through the studio.music context.

Where to find it

Open the App Drawer and look under Studios. The resting drawer shows only the studios you have pinned, so if you do not see Music Studio there, type its name into the drawer search — every available studio is reachable that way.

How to use it

Open Music Studio from the drawer or open a music asset from Library. Build patterns, adjust tempo, use loops from Library, and save the result as a music asset you can return to later.

Use cases

Sketching a beat. Building a short loop for a game or video. Keeping musical ideas inside the same workspace as the project that uses them.

Gotchas

Music Studio is gated by the studio.music surface flag. If the tile is missing, the feature is off for that entity or release ring, not necessarily absent from the code.
